The position forms an integral part of our Showroom's overall performance, in terms of image, the shopping experience, perception and brand equity. We are looking for someone who loves to create! The candidate will be responsible for Showroom styling, sourcing/buying accessories and assisting with social media marketing and advertising.

Requirements:
  • Must be presentable and professional at all times
  • Knowledge and interest of current interior trends
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Good work ethic and team player
  • Must possess a high level of integrity in all dealings with customers, suppliers and colleagues
  • Minimum of of 3 years work experience in the interior field
  • AutoCAD and/or other design software knowledge will be a plus
  • Must have own transport and valid Driver's licence

Supreme Furniture Manufacturing is a family owned business, based in Stellenbosch. Founded by the late Errol Julies in 1990, Supreme has established itself as a leader in manufacturing of high quality, bespoke furniture and still evolving 28 years later. Managed by three siblings, it has proved that their hands-on approach to execute and deliver beautiful high-end furniture, has proved to be a main ingredient in their recipe of the business's success.

Already staffed with a team of five in-house interior decorators, Supreme has a need to grow their team because of the growing demand.

We are looking for a Designer who is well organised with a passion and flair for interiors to join our team.

Requirements for the position:
  • Minimum of 5 years work experience in the Interior Industry
  • The ability and experience and ability to drive projects independently under the supervion of the Sales Manager and Managing Director
  • Consult with clients and suppliers directly
  • Knowledge of proportions and sizing of furniture
  • Must be able to work under pressure, have attention to detail, process concepts and information accurately to the factory for manufacturing
  • Candidate must be target and sales driven
  • Handling all administration related to a project i.e. liaising with clients and Production planners
  • Onsite consultations when required
  • Must have own transport and valid Driver's licence
