The Private House Company


The Private House Company is looking for someone to help our Design team with their day-to-day administration and production.

The candidate must be very organised, hands-on and ideally have a passion or interest for design and décor.

Administration and production is the essence of this role.
 
JOB SCOPE
 
Production
  • Creating and sending purchase orders and following up with suppliers
  • Keeping on top of deadlines with production items
  • Filing of quotes, invoices, delivery notes and working documentation
  • Keeping project working documents up to date
  • Documenting products leaving and being returned to the warehouse on projects.
Supplier Management
  • Purchase orders
  • Scheduling of orders and following up with suppliers to meet deadlines
  • Checking quality of orders when they arrive and labeling for installation
  • Managing supplier invoices.
Client Management
  • Helping with project presentations and sample boards
  • Keeping clients updated on progress of their projects if needed
  • Help with installations
  • Invoicing.
SKILLS
  • Strong Excel skills a necessity
  • Accounting or bookkeeping background would be an advantage
  • SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign a bonus but not necessary
  • A valid driver’s license and own mode of transport is needed.
