We are looking for
  • A true peoples-person with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Extremely well organised, with a good dose of common sense, initiative and enthusiasm
  • You are a “doer” and don't mind getting your hands dirty and prepared to get stuck into whatever needs to be done
  • A real team player and able to infuse both your customers and colleagues with positive energy
  • Passionately dedicated to making an environment more beautiful, exciting and inspiring
  • Able to maintain and contribute to housekeeping and visual merchandising set by the design/visual team
  • Have a professional appearance and presence
  • Have the ability to run through customer projects from start to finish
  • Have an understanding of textiles
  • Demonstrates personal initiative and motivates themselves
  • Keeps a level head and assesses problems efficiently and with reasonable conclusions
  • Operates with a service mindset and ensures everything is done to achieve excellence
Minimum qualifications
  • A matric certificate
  • An Interior Decor Diploma or higher (bonus)
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, both verbal and written
  • Secondary language is a bonus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Proficiency in Pastel POS preferable
  • At least two year’s work experience in customer service, retail and/or a creative industry is preferred
  • Able to proactively interact with customers in the showroom
  • To meet sales targets and proactively and continuously grow the customer base
    globally
  • Able to provide advice on textiles, finishes and concepts and manage the clients’ account efficiently
  • Strong in up selling and closing sales
  • Drivers licence
Working Hours
 
5 days a week. May include some selected Saturdays
