The Building Centre

The Building Centre exhibition has 3 positions available for front-of-house Information Officers. We're looking for candidates who have experience with interior design, architecture, building or renovating.

We are a permanent exhibition located in Cape Town, showcasing products and materials for home building renovating projects.

The exhibition is the largest of its kind in South Africa, hosting over 200 exhibits, and serves to inform interior designers, architects, building professionals and homeowners who are looking to gather ideas for their projects.

Advance your knowledge working for us. This job opportunity is ideal for students who have recently finished studying interior design, architecture or construction and who are interested in learning more about the building industry.

The Position

As an information officer, you will be responsible for welcoming visitors to the exhibition and assisting them with their enquiries about building and renovating products.

The position involves ongoing training and the opportunity to learn more about the building industry – all within an inspiring environment – and alongside some of the most recognised brands in the industry.

  • Full-time position, starting 7th January 2019
  • Monthly salary is R8000 basic + plus monthly commissions and training bonuses
