Biggie Best, a household name in home décor and textiles, is looking for a Store Manager/Decorator for our pop-up store in Walmer Park. This is a contract position until end April 2020 (Subject to review.)

The Store Manager needs to have a decorative flair and the ability to secure orders and manage installations. A Driver's licence and own vehicle are essential.

  • Microsoft Office
  • Good communication skills
  • Good people skills
  • Good administration skills
  • Good understanding of logistics and stock control
  • Merchandising experience
  • 5 years’ experience in management
  • Industrial Relations experience.
Minimum Qualification:
  • Matric (Grade Twelve)
  • At least 3- 5 years Retail experience
  • At least 2-3 years Management experience
  • IR Experience.
Professional Qualification:
  • Tertiary Education will be advantageous.
  • Company policies, procedures and legislation
  • Extensive knowledge of home linens retail environment
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing environment.
IT Technical Proficiency;
  • Navision
  • Outlook
  • Microsoft Office
  • Astrow (Time keeping and attendance)
  • Manage staff
  • Boost sales and profits.
