We are looking for a Sales Support and New Business Assistant to assist the Branch manager with all sales activities, internally and externally, and to search for additional new business opportunities.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

A very strong and independent Sales Support and New Business Assistant required to fulfil clerical and sales support functions to the sales and branch manager of our organization. This person needs to have the ability to take the initiative, and should not be micro managed.

Responsibilities include:
  • Sales reports.
  • Electronic database updates.
  • Order intake and production, delivery and installation management.
  • Sales proposals for prospective customers.
  • Plan showroom appointments and ensure that the branch manager is supported for these appointments.
  • Manage and assist showroom walk-in sales.
  • Overall management and upkeep on the showroom on a daily basis.
  • Business development of new business opportunities, search for tenders and new buildings.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Computer – Excel and Word.
  • Previous experience in internal sales and sales assistance an advantage.
  • Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and needs to be flexible in terms of having the ability to assist with project management of installations on site.
